I was in this game where everyone was killing each other. It was inevitable that everyone was going to die. At first I had a AR that I was using. I would shoot these people who came out of a building. It was almost like we were trying to get the highest score on how many people we kill. Towards the end it was me against my boyfriend. I originally had the AR but it was out of bullets so I picked up a shot gun off the ground. We were both aiming it at each other and made an agreement on we both shoot each other at the same time. I was very scared because we weren’t sure if my gun would kill him but we knew for certain his gum would kill me.
Dreams involving violence or competition, such as a shared scenario like a game where people are attempting to "score" or compete, often reflect internal conflicts, relationships dynamics, or stressors in your waking life.
Game-Like Setting:
Killing and Competition:
Weapons (AR and Shotgun):
Confrontation with Boyfriend:
Fear and Uncertainty:
Relationship Dynamics: You might be experiencing unresolved conflicts or tensions in your relationship. The dream highlights a struggle where neither side wants to show vulnerability, even at the risk of mutual 'damage.'
Fear of Conflict or Change: The inevitability of everyone dying may point to your subconscious urging you to confront or accept an inevitable change or conclusion in life. This could relate to aspects of work, personal life, or internal belief systems.
Aggression or Defense Mechanisms: If you often find yourself on the defensive or feeling like you need to protect yourself emotionally or intellectually, the dream is bringing this to your attention, urging you to find healthier coping strategies or ways to express your assertiveness more constructively.
Stress and Anxiety About Competence: Stress about abilities or resources fading (i.e., an empty AR) but still being in a high-stakes environment may reflect anxieties over maintaining performance or roles in personal or professional settings.
Communicate Openly: If the dream reflects relationship tensions, initiating an open dialogue with your partner might ease mutual concerns and improve trust.
Reflect on Change: Consider what inevitable changes might be troubling you and explore ways to approach these with calmness and acceptance.
Self-Analysis: Evaluate where your methods for dealing with stress could be revitalized or replaced with healthier ways to cope.
Seek Balance: In settings that feel overwhelmingly competitive or aggressive, find ways to assure personal wellness, be it through mindfulness, relaxation or seeking support from others.
Overall, this dream is calling attention to conflict, pressure, and potential transformation in your waking life, guiding you towards reflection and growth.
